Checchi provided a Senior Performance Monitoring Specialist/Team Leader and two local researchers to assess USAID/Macedonia’s Performance Monitoring Plan with respect to indicator objectivity and appropriateness, data source validity, and the timeliness and reliability of data collection methods. The team presented the assessment findings at a series of stakeholder seminars, and the Team Leader trained the Macedonian team members in the assessment methodology so that they would be able in the future to carry out such exercises without U.S. technical guidance.
